Tip of the day 11

Tip of the day 11: Gutting your Mats.

When Matting and layering you can be more fugal with your card by gutting it. This involves cutting some of your card out of the middle of your mat, before sticking your topper on top. This not only gives you some card spare to use, (I often use it to mat a sentiment), you also lose some weight to the card, which is great for posting your cards. Just be aware of the weight of card stock you are putting on top. If using light weight paper you may be able to see through it and see the hole underneath.
