Hero arts color layering bird with Altenew inks and Altenew label love stamps.
Card making, Craft, Stamping

A quick post for Seven Hills Crafts February Colour challenge.

Here is a card I made with Hero arts, color layering bird and Altenew, label love stamp sets that I recently bought from seven hills crafts. I also used altenew inks, that I love for colour layering.

Hero arts color layering bird with Altenew inks and Altenew label love stamps.

I stamped the bird with the new rock collection inks. The eye and the legs are stamped with the darkest shade – Pure graphite. The sentiment is stamped with industrial diamond. The bird and sentiment were then cut out.

I used various Altenew yellow inks to ink smoosh a yellow water colour background on an oval die cut and ink splattered the card base with the darkest two greys. I then used foam tape to pop up all the layers.

I hope you like it.

I would like to enter this card into

Seven Hills Crafts February Colour Challenge.

Thanks for looking at my card. Please leave me a message.

Keep it Crafty!

  1. What a fantastic card. I love this design, and the colour palette works perfectly, giving a subtle vintage but stylish feel. Great choice of shape for the oval – definitely reminds me of an egg too – very clever! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Seven Hills Crafts 🙂
