Here is a card I made inspired by the latest class at Altenew Academy. This is the homework for lesson one which was to use your layered stamps with a twist.
Here I embossed the outline layer of the stamps with Versamark ink and then heat embossed with gold embossing powder on lilac card.
I then stamped the layers of the flowers from painted flowers with inks from Altenew’s shades of purple mini cubes.
To finish the card I gold embossed the mini sentiments on to strips of the same lilac ink. The large sentiment was die cut with Altenew’s Happy die and then layered up with more die cuts in white card to add dimension. The mini sentiments were popped up with foam tape.
This card is very similar to Therese Calvird’s card in the class, but she used dark blue colours and the Golden Garden stamp set that I don’t have.
If you are looking for inspiration this is a great class to take. It has given me loads of inspiration. I just need more time to try out all the techniques and then blog about them.
Thank you for looking. Please leave me a comment.
Keep it Crafty.
