Deer Dad

Here is a card I made for Father’s Day. It is fairly simple, but I think effective.

I have used Altenew’s Modern deer stamp set and Clarity stamp letterbox stamp set.

I used Paper Bag Crisp Dye Ink from summer afternoon mini ink set and Dark Chocolate Crisp Dye Ink from four scoops mini ink set and Jet Black Crisp Dye Ink from green fields mini ink cube set, to stamp the deer. I put some darker ink on the back, head and back leg to give some shading and using the darker brown ink for the feet and jet black for the eyes and nose. I then fussy cut him out as I don’t have the coordinating dies. I stamped the sentiment with jet black ink on a strip of card.

To make the back ground I used twisted citron distress ink and ink blended a background and then dropped some water on to it to give a distressed look.

I then affixed the deer and sentiment strip with foam pads.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Thanks for looking.

Keep it Crafty!
