Here is a card I made with Hero arts, color layering bird and Altenew, label love stamp sets that I recently bought from seven hills crafts. I also used altenew inks, that I love for colour layering.
I have two cards today to share to send off to two challenges, but they are made with the same stamps and supplies and the same techniques.
I have used Altenews Best Mom and painted greetings stamp sets for both my cards. I also used some paper ribbon that were in colour sets. I stamped the flowers with Altenew inks – cotton candy for the pink card and mango smoothie for the yellow card.I then coloured them with Promarkers – Meadow green, Bright green and Grass for the leaves on both cards and Blossom, Pink Carnation and Cerise for the pink flowers and Buttercup, Tulip yellow and Sunflower for the yellow card. I love the fine tips you can get for promarkers, they let you put the fine detail into your colouring.
This pink card was made using the sketch below and I would like to submit it to Seven Hills Crafts June 1016 Sketch challenge
This yellow card was made using the photo inspiration below and I would like to enter it into the Altenew June Inspiration Challenge
Thanks for looking. If you like my cards please like or leave a comment.
Keep it Crafty!
I have used Clarity stamp – winter trees and their mantles and the branch out of the birdhouse garden set for this card. I started by stamping the mantle for the main tree before stamping the rest around it using willow adirondack ink.
I also stamped the mantle onto a post it note and then cut out using a craft knife as wanted to mask the out side of the mantle not the inside.
I masked off the outside of the main tree mantle and using the branch and raspberry adirondack ink stamped some blossom in the mantle.
After removing the mask I inked up the matching tree with vintage sepia versafine ink. I then used the mantle to kiss this stamp to remove some of the ink so the branches on the mantle would be paler than the trunk, before stamping this over the main tree.
I used my old dyno label maker for the sentiment. The leaves were punched out of a practice piece of card. I also rounded the corner with a corner rounder punch.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges
