Downton Abbey

Hello Everyone.

Here is a card I’ve made using the new Downton Abbey papers. I have these on the free CD Rom with Crafter’s Inspiration Magazine issue 8. My Step-son is going to a 30th Birthday Party at the weekend and wanted me to make a card, so this is what I’ve made.

I printed out two backing papers and a page of sentiments. I have cut a strip of the one paper to fit down the middle of the card and then die cut some leaves and the numbers from the scraps and punched a little flower for the middle of the big flowers.

I then inked round them all with distress ink. I cut out the sentiment and die cut some big flowers from white card and inked around all of these with the same ink.

I then put it all together using a piece of lace ribbon and some grey pearls. A simple card with lovely papers.
